Self-Care

School: Waiʻanae Elementary School
Grade Level: Grade 6
Teacher: Ally Smith

Driving Question: How can we practice self-care in our community by focusing on our minds, bodies, and souls?

What did the students DO?

The Self-Care group engaged in different ways they could care for mind, body and soul.  One of the activities they chose to do for self-care was cooking together.  Dishes like fried rice, hamburgers and candied apples were part of their menu. Other activities included making greeting cards, doing simple crafts, creating art pieces on canvas and going swimming.
