Robotics | 2019-2020

School: Nānākuli High & Intermediate School
Grade Level: 9-12
Teacher: Richard Enright and Kelli Kajiwara

Driving Question: How do we as students design, build, and program a robot to compete according to the rules of a robotics competition?

Students spend the year meeting the VEX robotics challenge by creating and reiterating a mechanical design to meet that challenge. Students compete throughout the year and, for the second year in a row, have been qualified to meet at national competitions. Students also have additional opportunities to speak and participate in events such as the Women in STEM conference.
