The keiki of Mākaha enjoyed a mahi`ai focus summer program. Hoa `Āina o Mākaha: Nā Keiki Mahi`ai.  The keiki learned how to build dry boxes, added a beautiful art piece to the garden, tended to the fields, harvested fruits and vegetables, worked in the washing station, and made homemade pizza in the kitchen.
