Driving Question: How can I keep myself busy by doing something fun and active? What are some fun things I can do to get my heart pumping? What can movement activities (exercise, dance & sports) do for the body and brain? What are some fun positive things I can do to keep myself active and busy, keep my heart pumping and is good for my body and brain?

What did the students DO?

The Pump It Up students learned how to keep their hearts pumping through exploring healthy body movements like cheerleading and various ball play (e.g., soccer, football, dodgeball, volleyball, and more).  They also played board games to learn thinking and play strategies they could apply in both outdoor and indoor play.
