Germaine has been a part of the PALS/PLACES team since 2016. Before joining the team, she was an elementary school teacher for 15 years at a number of schools on the Waianae coast. Germaine was born and raised on the coast and has a passion for giving back to her community. She loves working in the lower elementary grade levels and brings a background in curriculum planning to the team. Germaine earned a Bachelor’s Degree (BEd) in Elementary Education (2000) and a Master’s in Curriculum Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (2015).
