Terra joined the PALS/PLACES team in 2018. Prior to that, she taught middle school science for ten years, six of which were at Nanakuli High and Intermediate. In 2014, Terra was awarded the Leeward District Teacher of the Year. Terra has also taught at the School for Examining Essential Questions of Sustainability (SEEQS) where she spent three years coordinating the project-based learning block. Terra graduated from the University of Hawaii with degrees in Biology (2006), General and Special Education (2008), and a Master’s in Educational Psychology (2011).
