Drama ʻOhana

School: Nānāikapono Elementary School
Grade Level: Grades 4-6
Teacher: Lori Starling

Driving Question: How does drama perpetuate our culture?

What did the students DO?

The Drama ʻOhana joined the PALS team after the turn of the 2022 new year.  Students practiced breathing techniques, participated in activities based on displaying different emotions, monologues and slam poetry.  They created their own routine to “Itʻs Raining Tacos” and also attended a community play, which for most students was an exciting first time experience.
