School: Kamaile Academy PCS
Grade Level: Grade 3-5 SPED
Teacher: Brian Bilodeau

Driving Question: How do we use locally grown plants as medicine to create a healthy and sustainable culture?

Although this group met in the garden, students focused on cleaning up and maintaining the area in addition to doing activities related to using materials from the garden. For example, they made chili pepper water, flower presses, and practiced weaving by making ti leaf key chains.
